This Privacy Policy explains how Vedic Insight, the Kundali Darpan Jyotish application, handles information.

1. Accounts and Personal Information

Vedic Insight does not require an account to use its chart calculation and study features.

The app does not upload saved Kundalis, private notes or tags to a developer server. It does not collect this information for advertising, behavioural profiling or third-party analytics.

2. Kundali and Birth Information

You may enter a person's name, birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates and other information used to create a Kundali.

This information is used to calculate and display charts and related study features. Saved Kundalis, folders, notes, tags and preferences are stored locally in the app's storage on your device.

You control whether to export, back up or share this information. Please only enter personal information that you are authorised to use.

3. Location Information

Location-based features, including Gochar, current-moment charts and Patro/Panchanga, may request access to your device's current location.

Location is used to determine the requested place, coordinates and time zone for the selected calculation. The app requests a current location fix rather than continuously tracking your movements.

Map and place-search features may use Apple services to resolve locations and time zones. Apple's handling of information is subject to Apple's privacy policies.

You can deny location permission and select a place manually. The last resolved or manually selected place may be retained in local app preferences. Location is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.

4. Purchases

Pro is currently offered as Vedic Insight Pro Annual, a one-year auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple through the App Store. The localized price and subscription details are shown before you confirm the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal during the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card information. The app receives verified transaction and entitlement information from Apple to determine whether Pro features are available. A minimal verified entitlement status may be stored locally in protected device storage to preserve access status on that device. It is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.

Apple processes payment and subscription transactions and handles refund requests under its own policies. We do not receive payment-card details through the app.

5. Advertising and Analytics

The app does not display third-party advertising and does not include third-party advertising trackers or behavioural analytics systems.

We do not sell Kundali information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Backups, Exports and Sharing

Backups and available technical exports are generated locally. A copy leaves the app when you choose a file destination, export option or share recipient.

Exported files may contain personal birth details and other information included in the export. Choose destinations and recipients carefully.

Copies saved to Files, a cloud storage service, email or another app are handled under that service's privacy and retention policies. Deleting a Kundali from Vedic Insight does not automatically delete copies you previously exported or shared.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Saved app data remains locally available until you delete it, replace it through a restore operation, or remove the app's data through the operating system. Where a Trash feature is available, deleted items may remain recoverable until Trash is emptied.

The app does not maintain a server-side account or a developer-hosted copy of your saved Kundalis that requires a separate account-deletion request.

You are responsible for deleting any backup, exported or shared copies from the destinations where you stored them.

8. Help and Support

Opening online help, privacy or terms links connects you to the relevant website. Opening these links does not automatically upload your saved Kundalis.

If you choose to contact support by email, we receive the information you include in that message and any attachments. This information is used to respond to and investigate your request.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or private birth information that is unnecessary to explain the issue. Hide personal information in screenshots where possible.

9. Children

The app does not provide public profiles, social networking or public user-generated content.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to support, contact us so the matter can be addressed.

10. Data Security

The app is designed to keep saved Kundali information under your control in local device storage. However, no device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Protect your device and any backup or export files containing personal information.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app develops or its handling of information changes. Revised wording will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
